This Privacy Policy explains how EventTickets ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our event management and ticketing platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, and event details. For ticketed events, we collect guest names, contact details, and payment information necessary to process transactions. We also automatically collect device and usage data (such as browser type and pages visited) to improve the Service.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process ticket purchases, send event-related communications (such as invitation emails, RSVP reminders, and program updates), personalise your experience, track marketing performance, and respond to support enquiries. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When a Host adds a guest's contact details, that information may be used to send event invitations, tickets, and updates on behalf of the Host. Attendee check-in data is collected solely to verify entry at events. Guests may opt out by contacting the Host directly or reaching out to our support team.
Payment processing is handled by our trusted payment providers (including Base44 Payments and Stripe). We do not store full card details on our servers. Transaction references and payment status are retained for record-keeping and refund purposes in accordance with applicable law. Hosts who connect their own Stripe Connect account do so under Stripe's terms, and payout details are managed by the payment provider directly.
EventTickets integrates with TikTok to help Hosts promote events and measure campaign performance. When you connect your TikTok account, we retrieve your public profile metrics (such as follower and video counts) to display in your dashboard. We also use the TikTok Pixel and Events API to track conversions (such as page views and ticket purchases) for attribution purposes. Tracking parameters (UTM tags) may be appended to links you share so that traffic and sales can be attributed to specific campaigns. TikTok receives aggregated event data and identifiers necessary for ad measurement; you can disable tracking at any time from your TikTok settings or by disconnecting your account. Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok's own Privacy Policy.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. Sensitive credentials (such as TikTok access tokens) are encrypted before storage. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
EventTickets may use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage for offline functionality and the TikTok Pixel) to maintain your session, remember preferences, measure marketing effectiveness, and improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly as a result.
EventTickets integrates with third-party services including TikTok, Google (Maps, Calendar, and Email), Stripe, Base44 Payments, and email delivery providers. These providers have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to provide the requested service.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. Event-related data may be retained after an event concludes for record-keeping and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.
You'll be asked to sign in, then can permanently delete your account and all associated event data from your dashboard.
EventTickets is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including by third-party providers located outside the UK. Where this occurs, we take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of EventTickets after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please reach out to our support team.
